Cotignac and it rocks
This village located at the foot of a tuff cliff is unique.
The houses are particularly neat, restored, decorated in a typical Provencal style.
Those below the “Cassole” are a good example, directly on the cliff, troglodyte dwellings, have a particular charm. From the top of the rock a magnificent panorama over the terraced hills where olive trees, cypresses, pines, oaks and other Mediterranean vegetation, against a background of blue sky, offer a choice setting to the inhabitants.
The alleys and cobblestone roads leading to small places where the the character of the place is almost always respected are cheerful and flowery.
